SHRAD CHARITY BERHAD is a member of Shrad International Group (SIG) and is passionately headed by Mdm Helen Krishna. SIG is in a multitude of businesses with a core vision that Technology is important in the preservation of LIFE.

This year being SIG’s 20th year Anniversary, Dato’ Ramesh founded SHRAD CHARITY to mark this significant milestone as a commitment to have a concerted direction in activities that would foster friendships & kindness while generating funds primarily for orphanages. At this point, we are still at a fledgling stage but it is our strong desire to be able to contribute to as many needful orphanages as possible within the next 2 to 3 years.
SHRAD CHARITY is a pledge of social responsibility to provide long term sustenance for orphanages in desperate need, ensuring that the children under their patronage are not abandoned due to lack of funds. It will administer to the plight of these children by making a difference through education, food and healthcare support.
As its pioneer fund raising project, SHRAD CHARITY is sponsoring Dasamahavidya, whereby all proceeds from the first night and corporate ticket sales will be donated for charity. This significant yet beautiful dance production, was chosen for its wonderful cultural story that is rich with heritage, which gives us all an opportunity to support the local youth arts scene and the greater magnitude it serves. Please join us and Astana Arts in generating awareness, friendships, kindness and volunteers towards the betterment of our cause.
Dato' Ramesh & Mdm Helen Krishna represented Shrad Charity in presenting a cheque for RM10,000 to the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development specifically for the empowerment of single mothers under the auspices of the ministry.
Shrad Charity had the wonderful opportunity to sponsor High Tea from Rex Hotel for a local orphanage, Trung Tam Bao Tro Em Vung Tau (the Centre for Social Protection of Children) in Vung Tau, Vietnam.

This significant yet beautiful dance production by Astana group, which is about the divine goddess Durga in many forms, was chosen because it depicts a woman and the hardships and sacrifices she goes through in life for her family. Being close to Mdm. Helen Krishna’s heart, it is a wonderful cultural story, rich with heritage, and gives us all an opportunity to support the local youth arts scene and greater cause it serves.
